'Poppy Pig', painted by Christine, is one of 60 fibreglass Hogs that were displayed throughout the Haslemere area for approximately 3 months from April 2017.

Following the display period the Hogs were auctioned in a grand finale, the Hog Parade, with the proceeds going to The Mayor of Haslemere’s Charities.  The total raised was £35,000.

The Haslemere Hares 2018

Double click to insert body text here ...

Haslemere Hares 2018 is the successor to Haslemere Hogs.  Once again, artists, schools and local organisations have been tasked to decorate a larger than life fibreglass Hare. 'Harvest Hare' is Christine's contribution.

After having chosen a summery motif for 'Poppy Pig', this time Christine has created an autumnal theme for the painting of her Hare.  This includes seasonal fruits, foliage, toadstools and wildlife that surround the Hare as if in a woodland setting.

The Haslemere Hare scheme raised over £50,000 for local charities.
